Overview
Signal+ includes a mobile app (protein timing reminders) and the website signalplushealth.com (newsletter and GLP-1 news). This policy covers both. We do not sell your personal data.
Website (signalplushealth.com)
When you use our website, we collect limited information:
- Email address — if you subscribe to Signal+ Weekly on the homepage
The GLP-1 News page shows headlines from primary sources — FDA, drug manufacturers, and insurance policy (including Medicare). Browsing that page does not require an account. If you click a headline, you leave Signal+ and the publisher's privacy policy applies.
We do not use advertising networks or behavioral analytics on the website. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may receive standard connection data (such as your IP address) when pages load.
Newsletter
If you subscribe to Signal+ Weekly, we store your email address through Resend (our email provider) to send the newsletter. We use your email only for Signal+ Weekly and related list management — not for unrelated marketing.
Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. You may also opt out at any time by emailing support@signalplushealth.com.
Mobile App — Information We Collect
The Signal+ app collects only what is needed to run your account and reminders:
- Email address — for sign-in and account identification
- Profile details you provide — preferred name, sex, and date of birth
- Protein logs and timestamps — synced so reminders and history work across devices
- Push notification subscription data — if you enable reminders
- Subscription and billing status — handled through Stripe when you subscribe
- Referral code — if someone referred you to Signal+
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use advertising networks or behavioral analytics SDKs in the app.
Mobile App — Data Storage
Account data is stored securely in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Render. Some app state — such as recent log timing — may also be stored locally on your device so the app stays fast and works offline.
Data is tied to your account and is used only to operate Signal+. You may request deletion of your app data at any time by contacting us at support@signalplushealth.com.
Mobile App — Notifications
Signal+ uses your browser or device's native push notification system to send mTOR timer and hydration reminders. Notification payloads do not include personal health details.
Reminders can be turned on or off in Settings inside the app.
Third Parties
Signal+ uses a small set of service providers:
- Render — website and app hosting; app database
- Resend — newsletter delivery and contact list; transactional email for app sign-in links
- Stripe — app subscription billing and payment processing
These providers process data only as needed to deliver the service. We do not include advertising networks, analytics trackers, or other third-party SDKs in the app.
Age
Signal+ is intended for adults 18 and older. It is not directed at children or teens, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us at support@signalplushealth.com and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this privacy policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the website or app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
